What Members Thought
Pat has been released from the "bad place" and is trying to remember why he was sent there. He is working on becoming a kinder person so he can end his "apart time" from his now ex-wife Nikki. Comically written, the seriousness of Pat's situation comes through anyway as we see him gaining ground only to suffer setbacks. This is a well-written story and a good read, with colorful characters.

I loved this movie, and reading the book gave a little more insight into pat's stay in the mental hospital and some of the family dynamics. I really enjoyed the authors writing style. I'm glad I read it AFTER seeing the movie!
