Well written - but the main character, Gemma Woodstock, is a bit of a hot mess. Sleeping with her partner, a single mom, pretty sh*tty to her partner, and trying to solve a murder in which she has a close connection. Not sure if I will read Gemma #2. Lots of atmosphere in this Aussie mystery. Great descriptions make you feel like you are there.
