Interesting concept for this debut literary mystery set in Denver. Lydia works at the Bright Ideas Bookstore, and one night shift finds one of the bookstore regulars (called "book frogs") has hung himself in the stacks - with a photo of Lydia as a child in his pocket. Thus starts a double mystery - the first being why did Joey kill himself? and the second - who is "the hammerman" the evil villain from Lydia's own childhood.
