What Members Thought
Wow. I am in the minority here: I found this book to be just ok. Elizabeth’s voice was too ponderous, too foreboding, too veiled. I wanted to say to her, “Just come out with it, already!” I liked Morgan better, maybe because her angst seemed more relatable to me. The final quarter of the book became more engaging, but, for me, it was too little, too late.
