A librarian recommended this one when I mentioned that I loved graphics like anything by Raina Telgemeier. He was right on! This is a charming and realistic portrayal of Hale's own young experience with interacting with own's peers and learning how to pick friends who accept you for who you are. ...more

Man, this really made me have flash backs to my own childhood. It’s both comforting and heartbreaking. Every 4th grader should read this book. It would make the world a kinder place.
