Really liked this book. Beartown is not just a story about a hockey team, it is a story about a community. Beartown is a dying community, and most residents live vicariously through there Junior Hockey team. The success of this team could mean a new National training center in the town, and with that a revitalized economy. I really liked the various characters, particularly Benjamin - one of the hockey players with a secret of his own. I think Backman is spot on with the way parents are too abso
