I LOVED Flavia as a narrator. Her childhood curiosity made her a better detective than the grown men working for the police department, and she is smart, funny, and a gifted chemist as well. At times she is wise beyond her years, and other times, especially dealing with her emotions and family relationships, she is most definitely an 11 year old. I look forward to reading the rest of this series!

I love the setting; I'm always a sucker for things set in the English countryside! Overall a great listen for my drives to and from work. I just cannot accept, though, that Flavia is only 11. It's just not believable in the slightest.
