I picked this up after reading Adichie's brilliant We Should All Be Feminists. In Dear Ijeawele, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie explains to her friend how to raise a strong and feminist daughter. Divided into fifteen suggestions, Adichie describes how Ijeawele can raise a daughter in a society that sees women as different and often inferior to men.
