This was a Forever YA book club choice, and I am so glad it was because I never would have read it otherwise... and I LOVED IT! Scythe is the first in a dystopian series set in a world with no death, disease, hunger, or real pain. Very Hunger Games-esque

Really a solid YA story with an interesting premise. I'm undecided if I will continue the trilogy and wonder if it will fall too much into a romance driven plot. I do recommend it as a quick and satisfying read.

Best book I've read in a while! The world building was complex but close enough to our current world to make it feel plausible. Really makes you think about our current society's structure & technology in some interesting ways. Loved it and can't wait for my holds to come in on the rest of the series. ...more
