Very interesting book about Afghanistan and gender roles. I liked how she looked at the issue from many perspectives. Looking forward to hearing her talk at the University of Rochester.
A fascinating, abeit emotionally difficult read. I had the opportunity to hear the author speak and was very impressed. Highly recommended.
