45%, DNF. Very well written. Only reason for the 2nd star, and honestly that is about the only thing that got me as far as I got. Perhaps it's bad timing on my part but I found this very morose and I couldn't relate to Hadley and the way she loses herself in Ernest, she lives only through him. She is only a vessel for him to berate and physically love on his terms. Perhaps true of the man, but unbearable to read.
