A good conclusion to the series. The pacing was a little rough at times, but I appreciate that the author took the time to show the lasting effects of the trauma of the hunger games and how that manifested differently in each victor, but also the trauma of living in poverty for so long (Gail and Prim). The amount of loss in this book was absolutely heartbreaking, and several characters didn't deserve the endings they got (view spoiler). I defini ...more
