Once it got moving, this book was great! I did feel like I kind of guessed the twists before they were revealed but that made it fun to find out I was right!

Cinder, a cyborg mechanic in futuristic New Bejing, works day and night for her step-mother and step-sisters. The world is being attacked by a new form of the plague (Lutmosis) that has the city in a panic every time a spot shows up. When the Prince of Beijing asks Cinder to repair an android for him, she's drawn into a world that she can't help but want to be a part of, at least until her step-mother volunteers her for Lutmosis research.

This has been on my TBR list for a really long time. I am sad I waited so long! What a fun and interesting retelling. I am excited to read the rest of the series!
