What Members Thought

I don't understand what all the fuss was about. The back cover said something about the author being a contemporary Nabokov, so I was really excited to read this. In the sense that Eileen is an unlikable character, she's like Humbert Humbert, but I didn't find anything in the writing that slayed me like the writing in "Lolita". I was much more interested in the character of the high-strung social worker than in Eileen.
