Very good historical fiction set in WWII. The story features three distinct points of view from a New York socialite, a young Polish prisoner of war, and a German female doctor stationed at Ravensbruck. A fictionalized story based on facts about the medical experimentation of Polish political prisoners. What I enjoyed about the story were the details of Caroline Ferriday - a woman who won three medals of honor from France, and was instrumental in bringing to light the plight of the "Lapins" (rab ...more
