Very slow in the beginning but then I started to really like it. I did not trust Tea Cake at all in the beginning but he definitely grew on me and I loved his and Janie's playfulness and positive outlook on life even though they were doing hard work. Some of the scenes seemed a bit rushed at times but others were perfectly paced and conveyed the message without being overly descriptive.
