What an absolutely gorgeous, touching, hopeful, humorous book. The story centers on Keb Wisting, half Norwegian, half Tlingit, with a touch of a few other things thrown in. Keb is about 95 years old, no one is sure exactly, and lives in a small village, Jinkaat, near Sitka, Alaska. Keb thinks he might be almost ready to die.
