Cute book. Not a lot of depth but honestly it wasn't meant to. This is one of those light hearted funny little romances. A quick read as well. I have been reading Patricia Cornwells Scarpetta series lately and after reading the seventh book I decided I needed a break from all the tense darkness and immediately turned to Janet Evanovitch. Sorry Janet, I usually love your books, but not this one. It was funny at first, but the animal jokes got a bit repetitive and the main characters were a bit pathetic.
