This was a slow start for me, but once the story development kicked in about half way through, it got a lot better. I think what kept this from being four stars for me is that I didn't really like the character of Nimona very much.I didn't think she was that funny. I was much more intrigued by Blackheart and Goldenloin. The last third of the book has a lot of heart and the story felt much deeper. Omg so I started this book thinking I'll read a few pages before bed. Nope. Plowed right through it. The story, the characters, it was all really good and kept me hooked the whole time. It's also amazing pacing and left me wanting more. I loved the ending. Start to finish one of the best stories I've read.
