i know I'm not the first person to say this but this is probably more prescient than '1984' or 'brave new world,' the epitome of a right wing libertarian future.
it is very very grisly and violent, an emotionally difficult read but worth it if you can manage it.
also if you have read this and loved it but haven't yet read N.K. Jemisen's 'broken earth' trilogy, you would probably enjoy it. ...more
