The Book
This book centered on a small-town attorney Atticus Finch, his children Scout and Jem, and a racial injustice in the Jim Crow South. Atticus defends a black guy by the name of Tom Robinson.

The characters were colored. No pun intended. I loved the writing style of Harper. She would foreshadow the book and chapters with sprinkles of hints. I would get to the end of a chapter and be surprised. The symbolic, "To Kill a Mockingbird" was a masterpiece.
