Once again, I am dead at the brilliant hands of Sarah J. Maas. I feel like a broken record praising this author left and right, but I mean come one! Look what she's done to me!

The only thing keeping me from going crazy right now is that I know what is going to happen. Otherwise I'd be a Tom by now!

Okay so where does one even begin in situations like this?

For starters, this book was glorious and I mean dive into the water so deep you don’t even know which way is up anymore kind of glorious. It was enticing, action packed, climatic, and thoroughly unpredictable to say the least.

I'm glad to finally see the famous Rowan, but then i started to hate him, a lot. He's an asshole for sure. His tattoos thou, they are cool. and the fact that someone else gets some, nice touch. It dragged towards the 60% mark, but the last 10% made up for everything. I like the MC, she can get whiny thou, and a bit selfish, but she does get treated like shit, so i understand. I was upset to see someone move on, and find someone else, but the twist near the end, made me feel better about her! hah ...more

This book was amazing, I really regret not picking it up earlier when I finished Crown of Midnight years ago. It was everything I ever wanted to happen in this series, so yaasss. My god, breathless. I need the next book so bad. I don't want to leave the world yet.. Why didn't she take Rowan with her????? He could just hide or something. It's so good! I love it. Love the series. Love the characters. Love the plot. Love everything!! Ahhh...... I didn't want to close the book and leave even though I know its not the last. I dread having the last book....

And Hholy F*cking hell! Dorian! Poor Dorian. That guy has the worst luck in the world (maybe) He has a f*cking bastard, s My god, breathless. I need the next book so bad. That guy has the worst luck in the world (maybe) He has a f*cking bastard, souless, heartless, cruel motherf*cker--and more words I cannot describe-- of a father. He gave up Celeana for Chaol, saved Chaol from getting killed by that son of a gun, have the only happiness in his life killed infront of him. Poor guy. Let me give you a hug.... And that collar! No matter what happened, in the next book that thing should be destroyed. I want that gone. Please!

Oh and Sorcha and Dorian's relationship? No. Absolutely no. I hated it, hated the moment when she had said she loved him. I do not support it. The only reason(as much as evil it sounds) I was sad was that Dorian grief, and the whole sentece of "As if he could put her back together again" sort of stuff. But other than that? I didn't like--hated-- the moment of them together. Sure, she kept their secrets and all, she made him happy but man, I was agaisnt it. I know I'm evil.

Man, Rowan! Dayummm! I love him. Still, why didn't she take him with her???Also, that ending of his silver feather touching her cheeks for farewell...aww.. and that freaking moment of him carrying her when she 'burnt out' was so aww.. I loved that moment!

And then there's Aedion! His undying loyalty! So excited for more of him. Them being friends and him loving her so much. I don't ship them being romantic. They're better of as friends and all. And that he should be rescued! He should be. Please.

And then, Celeana's character development is amazing. I love her even better, all her hardship and everything she went through brought tears to my eyes. Words cannot describe how much I love her.

Celeana and Rowan's realtionship was wonderful. I love every moment of it. Every single effin' thing! I love it!

So many things. Awesome things. I really really wish which I hope would come true that that son of a gun would die and by that I mean the King, in the most horrible way.

I don't know if I'm team Chaol, or Dorian, or Aedion, or Rowan. I'm in between. But still, maybe I favor Chaol more.... Okay, I'm team Celeana.
This series, holy hell. Why did I not read them earlier??? So excited to what's about to happen!!
THey're a piece of heaven. Ahh... I'm dying.. it's only been a few minutes since I've finished reading the book and now I don't know what to do.. So good. So wonderful. All the praise! Its climbed its way to my favorties!

This continues to be my favorite book in the series up to this point. I love the new characters, Rowan, Manon, Aedion & all the rest. They added to the depth of these books. I will have to say though I cried more in this book than probably all the others combined! The ending kills me everytime! However I am excited to see what happens next!
