This book is so beautiful. I didn't want to finish it. I'm actually gutted that it's ended, for I fell in love with its world and characters. I never wanted to leave the world of The Night Circus. Such magical storytelling.

Pure magic, lush with enchanting imagery, a new favorite.

Foi difícil acabar este livro, tenho que admitir, apesar de ter gostado imenso do circo em si, achei o livro muito maçudo, confuso e a história por detrás também não me fascinou nada.
Se não gostas de livros descritivos, este livro não é para ti, eu sou dessas pessoas, por isso é que acho que esta não foi uma boa escolha. Tem demasiada descrição, tornando-o um livro lento e muitas vezes achei que se tornava confuso.

This book was so freaking magical.
I would pay a lot of money to go to this circus. I'm not normally a fan of circuses, I find them boring but to be honest, I haven't been to an actual one. But anyway, I will make an exception for Le Cirque des Rêve ...more

A very interesting book! I did like the intricate magic that each could add to the circus, but I didn't particularly love the changing perspectives. For me either pick 3rd or 1st person...I hate reading 2nd person.
