Este libro es precioso, desde la página uno, hasta la última página, tiene una historia realmente hermosa, escrita de manera deliciosa y además con unas ilustraciones realmente divinas.

A manera de hacerle un homenaje a Georges Méliès, un importante cineasta, ilusionista y actor del siglo XIX, incursor en muchos métodos de cine, no cuenta la vida de este personaje, solo cobra vida en este libro a manera de uno de los protagonistas que nos llevarán de la mano para soñar junto con Hector Cabret y

Estoy llorando de nostalgia. Hugo el chico que ahora es el Profesor Alcofrisbas, una bellisima historia, tanto lo escrito como los dibujos. Ame el Autómata. Las frases que aparecen al transcurrir la historia, son tan... no tengo palabras. Una historia sumamente recomendable.

"Hermoso" es la palabra con la que probablemente describa este libro para siempre. Hermoso en todo sentido. Desde su historia, sus personajes y su resolución hasta, obviamente, sus magníficas ilustraciones.

I read this book with my son and we both enjoyed greatly this story about an orphaned boy looking to get a connection with his dead father through a mechanical man.

Favorite character: Etienne followed closely by Hugo's father.
Least favorite character: Hugo's uncle.
Favorite part: I liked better the second part of the book. As a bonus, awoke curiosity in my son and he went on to investigate about George Méliès and life in Paris and early movies and he's now asking for more Selznick books; fortunat
