It remains a mystery to me how one comes to love or hate a book. Sometimes the writing works and sometimes it does not; other times we are drawn to the story line or the characters or we find no appeal on any of those elements. In the end, literature is art and art is subjective, more about emotions and feelings. I guess then it is the reader’s interests and background where the key to liking or disliking a book is found.

Es una historia de descubrimiento, realista y tierna a la vez, donde conocemos cómo se ve el mundo desde una sociedad conservadora y cómo un hombre quiere ser congruente con sus acciones y sus creencias para vivir bien y dar un buen ejemplo a sus hijos.

Me gustó mucho, me emocionó, me divertí y sufrí en algunas partes, me encantó Atticus y Dill y me dieron muchas ganas de ver qué pasa en el libro publicado recientemente.

El problema con algunos clásisos influyentes es que muchas veces se consume primero el arte que fue influido por estos y cuando terminas leyendo el clasico en cuestión ya no te sorprende ni impresiona.

Justo eso me ha pasado con este libro.

Me he sorprendido con este libro. En primer lugar, porque no pensaba que me gustaría. Además de que la historia me ha mostrado algunos mensajes que claramente se pueden aplicar actualmente.
