This was a fun, light, quick read... it's one of those books that can get you out of a reading slump but at the same time, one cannot expect a deep portrait of characters nor high literary quality. Crazy Rich Asians is like a Mexican soap opera, and it is fun, and there is no guilt in that.

Si sólo pienso en los buenos ratos que me ha hecho pasar y en lo ameno que se hace le habría puesto las cuatro estrellas pero la historia peca de previsible y el final es un "compra mi próxima novela" demasiado evidente. Por otro lado refleja de manera maravillosa un mundo al alcance de muy pocos y lo hace con fascinación y una prosa correcta, pero no deja de ser la vida de unos pocos entre miles de millones, y eso, a veces, da un poquito de asco, ya me entendéis... If there's one thing I got from this book is this: I really want to try most of the food mentioned here. I want to go to Singapore and feast on all the lovely dishes I just read about, never mind that upon my returning I'd have to be on a year long diet to shed all the weight gain.

Favorite character: I liked Rachel and I liked Nick although both of them had flawed moments. I also liked Astrid and Sophie.

Muy divertido.

Un consejo: ignoren la sinopsis. Si bien si pasa eso, es solo una pequeñez de todo lo que nos muestran. Sin mencionar que Rachel no es exactamente la única protagonista.

Vemos un montón de personajes, una variedad de situación. El modo en que piensan mezclado con toques divertidos.
Es un buen libro que "JAMAS" lo debieron hacer película, lo ideal sería una "SERIE", es perfecto para eso. Por tantas historia que contar.
