Apenas termine de leer este libro y ya lo eché de menos, no he querido que se acabe, la narración es tan hermosa, tierna y encantadora, que me he visto viviendo en Guernsey haciéndome amiga de Isola con Zenobia posada en mi hombro, viendo los paisajes tan hermosos que describe Juliet y respirar ese aire de paz que me ha hecho sentir, invitándome a mí misma a probar el pastel de piel de patata como pretexto para estar presente en una de las reuniones de La Sociedad Literaria y hacerme amiga de to ...more

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is a historical book set just after the end of WWII in the UK and Guernsey. It is an epistolary novel, completely different to what I am used to reading. I was a bit worried at the beginning but I was happily surprised and loved it!
