I have never watched or read any type of adaptation of Treasure Island so I went in completely blind and I really enjoyed it. It is definitely darker than I thought, with lots of violence which surprised me as it is categorised as a children's book. There is action non-stop as we follow Jim’s adventures and the pirates… will they find the treasure?
A great read which, despite being written in the 19th century, it is still quite easy to follow. Another classic completed!
