¡Qué puedo decir de este maravilloso libro! Acabo de terminarlo y aún tengo un nudo en la garganta. Confieso que no llevaba ni la cuarta parte y ya no tenía ninguna duda de que serían mis primeras cinco estrellas del año.

La narrativa de Margaret Mitchell es impecable, aunque es inevitable notar la influencia de haber nacido y residido toda su vida en la misma ciudad en que mayormente transcurre su obra, que por lo que leí en su biografía, le tomó diez años escribir. Nota curiosa, los mismos diez

Uf, hace tiempo que no caía en la tarea maratónica de empezar un libro gigantón y TENER que terminármelo YA. La pluma de Margaret Mitchell tuvo poca compasión por mi persona, porque exigió toda la sangre, y el sudor, y las lágrimas disponibles en mí, jajaja. Le tuve que conceder casi todo el poco tiempo libre que tenía... pero aún así valió la pena. Es que fue simplemente como si me hubiera caído en un agujero negro. DE LA FELICIDAD. Y del horror, claro. One of the best books in our history. For the first time I read it when I was 8 y.o. and of course the only line I understood correctly was the romantic triangle between the main characters. Years later I read it for the second and third time and discovered for myself a real day-to-day encyclopedia a person has to have opened all the time on his or her table. This book has an answer for a global question "How to survive loosing everyone and everything?" so I definitely recommend it. ...more
