Lo importante no es lo que contiene, sino el por qué escribió estas historias Ángeles: para devolverle las ganas de vivir a su hija que se encontraba en coma.

After reading this book I couldn't be happier of not being born in the same families as these women. I just don't think I could have been happy if all what was expected of me was getting married, having a bunch of children and living a life of cooking, cleaning, praying and being a quiet and nice addition to my husband's house.

I liked Mastretta's style and language.
