Okay, I'm going to be honest here: I don't know what it was, but I loved this book. And I can't quite tell if it was the writing style or the story or something else, but I had some kind of sensation while reading it and... I just knew I was liking it. It's like from page one I was just like: 'Yeah, I like this', but I don't know freaking why.

So, you're warned, this review will be totally senseless and maybe not that useful.

First of all: I loved Finch. I mean, I liked Violet, but after read 4.5

First of all: I loved Finch. I mean, I liked Violet, but after reading it, we all know that Finch has the spotlights the whole time. I loved the depth and the complexity of his character and just how well written he is. Since the very beginning of the book I kinda knew or at least suspect a little what was going on with him exactly, but the more I read and known his character, the more I wished I was wrong. But I wasn't. And when it was finally revealed, I was left in pieces. He's a lovely and funny and smart character, and I loved just the way he was developed all through the novel. (view spoiler)

Something else I loved about this book: It has a HELL lot of quotes. It is beautifully writen, cover to cover. The writing style is so fresh, emotional, kinda poetic even and unique. The writing itself would be a great reason for me to love this book. It was honest. I think some readers could actually relate to the things and mainly the feelings both Violet and Finch were passing through. I did. Or if not relate, at least understand it, because the descriptions of their feelings were really powerful and touching and realistic. Because yeah, that kind of things happen. Jennifer Niven describes feelings I've felt myself, lots of times, but never really could describe. I aprecciated that a lot, and I know lots of readers would too.

Huh. I guess now I know why I liked this book so much: The writing. Finch. The honesty and the complexity of the novel. And the atmosphere.

Mi corazón dice 5 estrellas y mi mente 2

Tardé casi un mes en terminar este libro, ¿las razones? Yo tampoco lo sé. Pero de alguna forma agradezco a la Rebeca del pasado por no presionarse en leer este libro hasta este momento.

No sé si es adecuado hacer una reseña justo enseguida de terminar el libro pero, lo estoy haciendo y creo que de una manera mis emociones estarán más presentes. (No sé si sea bueno o malo)

Realmente no me ha gustado demasiado el libro. Sinceramente, quitando el personaje del chico, que a lo mejor puede llegar a resultar interesante e incluso conectar con el lector; lo demás no tiene mucho sentido. Creo que se trata el tema principal muy a la ligera y que las personas con ese tipo de problemas sufren más de lo que está escrito en esta obra.
La historia de amor tampoco tiene mucha emoción y no logró engancharme en lo absoluto.

this book is poetry, i loved.
this book shows a boy who think about suicide and dead. and the people call him freak.
but what they dont know is all the struggle he have to pass every single day, until he knows violet. a girl who sister just die, and she think she doesn't diserve live. when this two guys meet their world change for good, and then fall in love, but is a weird love, a lovely love, and that end make me cry like a baby, i did expect something like that but omg, that was hard, i'm spee ...more
