Es mucho más adorable y divertido de lo que pensé. La verdad es que esperaba que me gustara, pero me impresionó lo dulce que es esta niñita, tan vulnerable y tan lista a la vez, tan llena de cualidades pero sin perder toda la inocencia. Creo que la mayoría conoce la historia de Matilda por la película. El libro me encantó, es una historia que me hace suspirar y pensar en mi propia historia. Genial, libro recomendado para adultos y niños...

Nunca me había dado cuenta que gran parte de lo que hacia tan entrañable a Matilda no venia de la historia en si misma si no de la actriz que la interpretó. Con esto no quiero dar a entender que no me gustara la Matilda del libro, pero hay algo en ver sus acciones escritas en papel que me hicieron dar cuenta de una malicia que nunca noté en todas las veces que vi la película.

Eso no cambia que celebrara cada pequeña venganza hacia sus padres y la directora, pero definitivamente creo que amo mucho ...more

Me hizo sentir nuevamente como la niñita que vio por primera vez la película.
Matilda es una niña valiente, nada presuntuosa, que te conquista el corazón a pesar de tener los peores padres.
Le quito una estrella por el hecho que le dan una explicación muy sencilla a la telequinesis de Matilda.
Por lo demás genial.

Ame este libro desde el principio. Creo fielmente que la gente a veces subestima el poder de los libros infantiles. Yo los encuentro sumamente hermosos a la mayoria, creo que los adultos tienen muchas cosas que aprender de ellos. Si ame tanto el libro, ¿por que 4.5? sencillo; obviamente, he visto la pelicula un millon de veces antes de leer el libro, por las obvias razones de que de niña no sabia que existia un libro, y creo que tenia un poco de expectativas, por ejemplo, en algo tan simple c ...more

I remember watching the movie when I came to U.S. on vacations as a little girl, but I found the boom the other day at the library so I decided to read it now that I speak English.

Matilda is a wonderful girl, and ms. Honey is the teacher I aspire to be. Like most children's books there's also a "bad guy" here and the background of this woman in the story is pretty powerful, I'll say too powerful for a children's book, I guess that when you are a child and read through you don't really catch mos ...more

Wonderful! The book and the characters were really well done. I have adore Matilda, such an innocent and amazing character. I felt so identified with her love of books (obviously).
