Libro controvertido si los hay. Habrá generado en los lectores tanto rechazo como adoración, al igual que la película (la cual ví) y me daban ganas de matarla a Lolita, porque es la típica pendejita calienta pavas, estereotipo aborrecible de mujer. A mí en lo personal me gustó por Jeremy Irons..

Que libro taaan intenso. A veces sí da un poco de asco y repugnancia, pero también da pena y lástima. Y tampoco creo que sea un libro pornográfico, es mas bien sensual y con muchísima tensión sexual. Humbert, pobre Humbert, enfermo Humbert. Nabokov describe muy bien la miseria humana, la soledad y la perversidad del alma que hay en el mundo. Y Dolores. No me parece que sea del todo inocente, pero a medida que avanzaba en la novela, me pregunté qué hubiese sido de ella sino hubiese conocido a su ...more

Just as brilliant as when I read it in high school. I read the book and listened to the audiobook with the glorious voice of Jeremy Irons. While Nabokov's writing is genius admittedly I found both Humbert and Lolita deplorable characters (although from a psychological standpoint I wonder who hurt Lolita before Humbert...something went wrong there). ...more

Me ha sorprendido como escribe Nabokov, pero todavía no tengo claro si para bien o para mal… Da mil vueltas utilizando una gran cantidad de adjetivos para describir cualquier situación. En algunas ocasiones el vocabulario y las expresiones me han resultado demasiado enrevesadas y para la trama del libro, totalmente innecesarias.

La primera parte me resultó rápida de leer, pero el principio de la segunda fue una tortura! No creo que fuera necesario enumerar y describir cada pueblo, cada ciudad, ca ...more
