What Members Thought
I first read this when I was 15, and of course most of it went over my head. However, I began to use it as a personal Bible - to work through the confusing years of youth. That isn't to say I agree with everything that's stated in this piece. I feel a great work, like a great partner, is one you can wrestle ideas and concepts with. I'm very grateful to Simone de Beauvoir and all the people responsible for this work because it has enriched my life tremendously and truly made me a better person.
