Oh. The. Hype.
I'm glad this is over. I'm glad I finished this book.

And I'm never gonna touch it again. EVER.

I just didn't connect at all with the characters. I dind't care about what would happen (which, in fact, we all knew it was going to happen). Gus and Hazel sounded as old people in teen bodies, to be sincere. I dunno, I just didn't like much this book and it bored me quite a lot at times. ...more

Primero: John Green, te odio.

Segundo: realmente la diferencia entre las tres estrellas y las cuatro que le doy es que, aún conociendo el final, lloré con el libro.

Ahora, mis pensamientos. Primero que todo, debo admitir que no estaba psicológicamente preparada para leer un libro sobre alguien con cáncer, aunque Hazel y Augustus siempre intentan darle un toque divertido a su condición (y lo logran, no puedo decir que no me reí muchísimo mientras lo leía), no pueden evitar el hecho de que en efecto ...more

Pues debo decir que había escuchado mucho de este libro en twitter pero nunca me había decidido por leerlo hasta hace unos cuantos días, y debo decir que realmente es uno de los mejor libros que he leído en mucho tiempo.

I loved it!

Sad, sad story written in a beautiful way.

I thought I would be able to say more about the book but I just... can't.

I read this book, like I do a lot of the reading lately, on my commute home from work. Sometimes the feelings were so strong I had to put it down for a bit. A couple of times I caught fellow passengers looking at me with curiosity.

I guess it hits a little closer now with my dad on the brink of a leukemia-kinda disease diagnosis.
