A work like Calvin's Institutes is hard to review because of how much an experience going through the work is. Part of it is probably due to the fact that I read it slowly over the course of a year, as opposed to most books which are read over the course of just a couple weeks or months. A good part of it also simply has to do with the breadth of topics that are covered, though, in this monumental work of the Protestant Reformation.
