The story of Zeb, Jane, and Dill is very enlightening. Zeb is a funny cab driver with a great habit of rescuing damsels in distress. He had to be my favorite character in the story! He was very well written with some peculiar habits and a sad background to build on.

While I enjoyed this story, I felt as if the pacing was a bit quick in some parts. It seemed as if there were a lot of scenes where people were attacking them with guns, yet none of them seemed to get injured even though in most case

An easy read with likeable characters and some excellent description of an alien world. The ending felt rather rushed, though I don't want to go into why as it would be a spoiler for anyone who hasn't read the book. There are a few typos and omitted words that have been missed during editing but not enough to distract from the flow of the story. There are plenty of guns in use but unfortunately knowledge of neither their features nor the effects of being shot are among the author's strong points ...more
