Audio book read by author was outstanding!! Extremely well written autobiography about the culture of growing up poor in Appalachian families. The social, psychological and economic difficulties that make it hard for them to escape the cycle and more government programs are not the answer. He has hope they begin to understand their strengths and make the vital and necessary changes in themselves to make their lives better.
