As an elementary teacher I received much flack for not having read this book sooner. As I was reading one day, a conversation with my husband reminded me why I had avoided it for so long. He mentioned it was written in the late 90's, which surprised me, but then I looked at the frontispiece and realized he was right-1997. It then came flooding back to me.
