I love this book..... love...... pure, undying love...... 80s references, video game, love, friendship, laughs, fear, EVERYTHING. This is officially my 2nd favorite book of all time. Just read it
I read this book having devoured Ctrl Alt Revolt and Soda Pop Soldier by Nick Cole. I didn't realise at the time that this genre was called LitRPG. I'd read Tad William's Otherland Sage back in the 20th Century, and Computer Warrior (the comic strip) had been one of my all-time favourites.
RPO was the third LitPRG in a week that I had devoured, and it was this one that really gave me the kick up the arse, and the enthusiasm to go out there and start to write my own LitRPG series.

Reads over and over. Highly recommend
I had to stop after the first 40 pages or so, and wish I could get my $10 back from Amazon.
