I started reading this book yesterday and I was pulled into the story in the first chapter and could not put the book down. The main character Anna and her diagnosis with Alzheimers, in her 30's, was the central to the story. She endured so much and yet there is such a thread of hope throughout the entires story. Everyone who Anna interacts with,or whom come in contact with the residential care facility she checks herself into, glean something from her life. Characters such as Eve, Angus , Cleme ...more

I was gifted this by St. Martin's Press. I devoured this book today and went through a whole box of tissues. What a beautiful, incredible story. I received an ARC from St. martin's Press and am still thinking about this emotionally engaging book. As I read each page, I felt a bond with the characters and what they were going through. My father-in-law suffered from Alzheimer's but it became very noticeable when he was in his seventies. While I do not personal know anyone with early-onset Alzheimer's, I empathized with those who do. Do you ever forget something and can't remember then shrug it off? Well sometimes it's nothing but sometimes it's not. In this book Anna is only 38 but has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's and eventually has to be put in an assisted living facility where she meets Luke who also has it they form a bond that others can't believe or don't want to believe!
