[My first goodreads review. I don't really do this kind of thing.:] I just watched Breakfast at Tiffany's on Netflix. It has a cat as a central element of the story, as does Murakami's beautiful Wind-Up Bird. In both we identify with a charming, well-meaning man who chases after the woman he loves. There are reporters, wealth, rain, and at the end I cried.

Excellent, interesting and well written book. It would be five stars, but for some reason I just couldn't get engrossed in it. I think that might have been me and not the book, but so it goes.
