What Members Thought
This is a beautiful book of lyric poetry, but this lyric of poetry is a bit outside of my poetry comfort range. That said, I'm glad I read it, and many of the images are sticking with me. Poetry on race, gender, violence, poverty and self. A difficult but beautiful read. A confident voice for a debut collection, but then again, this is Copper Canyon and they do well with debuting authors.
