Vacillating between three and four stars (Why doesn't Goodreads let us give 3.5 stars?). "The Turner House" is set in Detroit and focuses on a large (13 adult siblings and their significant others and offspring). The story resonated with me, and likely will with anyone from a large family, even one culturally and ethnically different from the Turners. These are characters about whom the reader comes to care.
