I had been in a reading slump for sometime before picking up this book. It took me a while to get wrapped up in the story, not through any fault of the book but because I started to read it at the end of the day in bed and on more than one occasion woke up with the book stuck to my forehead! :-) In all seriousness this was a really good book and I must highlight the description of the landscape was magnificent! I honestly thought if I look out my window I might just see the coast!
