This is the second book in the Kings of New York series, and it was an absolutely captivating read! I was hooked from start to finish by the intense and dark plot, and the author did an amazing job of capturing the twisted vibe of the story and its characters. This was Ashton and Molly's story, and I found his chemistry with Molly to be quite thrilling. The book was filled with heart-pounding suspense, and I was constantly on the edge of my seat. Tijan has out done herself again. Molly and Ashton’s journey gives you the ride of a lifetime. Their story follows in line with the mystery of the murder of Molly and Jess’s friend that occurred in book 1. As you are taken on an emotional ride, there are questions that need to be answered, reveals that bring more questions and mystery, but overall the emotions that are felt as Molly and Ashton grow as a couple. good people who do bad things

Yet another epic book that I wished would not end. I love that this author always make me want more at the end of a book! Though the hang overs are tragic haha .
A cruel arrangement is the second book in the Kings of New York and for best reading experience you really want to read book 1 first as this one starts right after the other one which is trace and Jess’s book and This one focus’s on Ashton and Molly.
