I pondered on what to say in my review for this book. I only started reading books by Tijan earlier this year when I was asked to read an arc of The Insiders. Needless to say, her writing blew me away and I knew I had to read whatever she releases. And she did not let me down with Canary. This book was nothing like any other mafia book I have read before.

This is the most violent book Tijan has ever written and my favorite so far. At one time I thought I couldn’t handle this. Then the lone wolf killer finally met class, elegance, but also a toughness and mystery, and everything felt right in that world. This mafia story is so refreshing to read, I love Tijan that's no secret, but in this story, she created something special, full of twists and turns, you will be on the edge of the seat while reading, and no way to stop until the end. Raize and Ash are simply fantastic, a must-read brilliant 5 stars!

Another great story by Tijan, I really liked these characters. Ash was a brave, strong woman that gave up everything to find her sister. She has a unique talent that makes her a very valuable asset. I love Raize and I love how he treats Ash. I liked the other characters that are with Ash and Raize and I love the furry member. couldn’t put it down !!

Yes!!! Yet another awesome story by Tijan ! I loved every minute of it and I honestly could not put it down.
This one was darker then the other mafia books she written so far but Ash brings the good , she brings the light and I loved how she altered Raize’ world And thawed him bringing some good to his heart . (But not so much that it changed him completely )

I really struggled with this one. So many times I picked it back up and tried to get into it but it didn’t hold my interest. I’m not sure why but it didn’t catch my attention like Tijans work normally does.
