This is a great introduction not only to this series, but to Tijan's amazing talent. It honestly just gives you brief glimpse into her writing prowess and how she can easily pull readers into her stories.

I did not read the first book in this series and you don't have to at all. Tijan gives you just enough to piece things together without taking away from the main characters in this story.

Tijan did not disappoint on this short mafia novella. Hooked from the very beginning and left wanting more mafia and more of the Bennett’s. Carson meets Jonah the night his fiancé is murdered right in front of him. She instantly feels something for him even though she feels bad about it due to the circumstances. Not that that’s what he wants .
The only problem with novellas is I always want more
I love the Bennett’s ! Bennet mafia is one of my favorite reads from this author and this addition is awesome to have !!
