As frustrated as I was with Iris, I understood. Glad August took the shot but man I needed an epilogue 😭😭🥰 edit to add epilogue is not in the audible but is in the kindle book!! And it’s so perfect!
Loved it! A very intense and emotional read! Its quite a deep read is this one. Goes into so mcuh graphic detail and you really feel for Iris - especially as a woman who has been in a position where a man had held so much power over you and been so manipulative! I think it really reaches out to so many women in the world who have been or are going through similar experiences in their own lives. I loved this book and would highly recommend for others to give it a read. WARNING - not for the faint

I had heard so many good things about this. Like a billion!
Naturally I was excited to get to it. And then promptly deflated.
I read three chapters. Three!
• Prologue,
• Chapter 1: August's POV,
• Chapter 2: Iris's POV.
Aaaand I gave up. There is insta-love and then there is this. I couldn't do it.
They were in love from spending 4 hours together. #NOPE ...more
