A new favorite book for me! Loved this one! Sal is one of those heroines we search for in every book. She's funny, caring, loyal, compassionate, independent and goal oriented. Her team has acquired a new assistant coach in the form of Reiner Kulti, the infamous and talented soccer player she grew up watching and fangirled hard over and inspired her own pro soccer career. Wow, can't get enough!

At this moment no words for this book. I could not put it down. The moment I started reading I was drawn into the story line. I loved the upfront, truth speaking, spit fire that was Sal. And Kulti, his hard to crack shell with moments of caring, what's not to love about the soccer star. The chemistry between these two was there from the start and I loved every chapter of their story. ...more

This was exactly what I needed right now. A nice slow burn. This is my second book I've read of Ms. Zapata's and it won't be the last. I love that both W.O.W and Kulti focus on character and the building of a relationship based on more than attraction and sex. This one was a little more anti-climactic to me, but I don't think it mattered. Some readers may not like that, though. This was a quiet romance, but memorable.

5 Chocolate German Cake!!!

Seriously?! I wanna scream and punch myself in the fucking face for not reading this as soon as I have a copy. I mean, what the bloody hell I was thinking?!?!

Anyways my idiotic self aside.. Let me just say that this marvelous, marvelous writer did it again! Marian Zapata, I don't know how can you make me finish a long ass slow burn romance book without being bored. I swear it felt like every page is like my favorite food that I can't resist but devour all at once.
